Going after a Modern Farmhouse look, we put in a custom wood mirror frame, black hardware, & dark blue wall paint. Also unique features of this space was turning one larger bathroom into 2 so that there could be a master bath next to the master bedroom. We also wanted to utilize a laundry room below and a previously supplied hole in the floor to pass laundry through. To do that, we had to downsize a traditional 60” tub/shower combo to a 54” and do some custom finagling of walls and holes to be able to use the laundry “shoot”. At the end, we could walk away with 2 full baths, but with tighter spaces. At least, the master shower is 4’ wide and I got to try a different, non-tile, seamless material for the master bath. Nothing worse than a tight shower for a large man like me!
