Project Scope: Basement Conversion to Living Space
This was another fairly typical basement finish coming on the heels of another contractor dropping the ball on them. One of the challenges in this space was configuring a bathroom in proximity to existing plumbing drains and MEP piping. We ended up completely closing a floor drain and pouring self-leveler to bring it up to plane and then custom built some walls and installed an up-flush system that tied into a nearby sewer pipe. Other procedures were pretty common and entry level such as fiberglass insulated walls, drop in shower unit, LED lighting, drop ceiling, and LVT flooring.
