Because of a close friend referral whose complicated addition we designed, this house/cottage design came to us from a father to some friends of Elaine and I while living in Snow Hill, MD soon after we were married. Having some history with this family, we knew it would be an interesting journey working with them. With the exception of just a few rare site visits, this design only journey was completed with almost all virtual screen shares. James is basically a retired chicken farmer and wanted a retirement home or something they could rent out tofamily or friends.
Pretty standard procedure for this project, but the most interesting thing was designing and using a gigantic room truss combination system for the 2ndfloor bonus room. See link below.
